To assist area higher education institutions in ensuring compliance with the Preventing Sexual Violence in Higher Education Act, Resilience will be offering a 40 hour training specifically designed for Confidential Advisors. Resilience has an extensive history of working with higher education institutions, providing student support, policy consultation, technical assistance, training and prevention education to 13 Chicago area higher education institutions.

The Preventing Sexual Violence in Higher Education Act recently passed in Illinois, detailing a number of expectations of higher education institutions in Illinois regarding various aspects of the sexual violence response on campus. Among the many provisions is a requirement that each institution identify one or more Confidential Advisors and that the identified Confidential Advisor receive 40 hours of specialized training, with the deadline for compliance being August 1, 2016.
40-Hour Confidential Advisor Training
Dates: July 23, 24, 25, 30, 31, August 1 (6 Total Days, 8 hours per day)

Registration Ends: Two business days before the training.
Cancellation Policy: Registrants are able to cancel up to 5 business days before the day of the scheduled training for a full refund. After that, funds are non refundable. Please call to inquire about substituting registrants or applying funds to a future training.
Training Materials: Training participants will receive both digital and physical copies of all training materials. These materials are not to be shared with those outside the training.
