​Jonathan Center is Chief Financial Officer of Strategic Government Properties (SGP). Jon’s responsibilities include oversight and ownership of the financial records for the organization and its underlying real estate holdings, coordination of bank activities, reporting of key operational and financial results, and development of monthly financial statements prepared in accordance with relevant accounting standards to analyze performance, to report to investors, and to identify opportunities for optimizing investment performance.

Prior to joining SGP, Jon was Controller at private equity backed FoodChainID, following 11+ years in EY’s (Ernst & Young) assurance practice, including as a Senior Manager within its Real Estate, Hospitality and Construction practice. Jon earned both his BS in Accountancy (‘07) and Master of Accounting Science (‘08) from the University of Illinois in Champaign. Jon loves spending time with his wife, son, daughter, and dog, has an unhealthy obsession with golf and loves traveling to experience and learn about different cultures.

Jonathan is the founder of Foursomes 4 Philanthropy (F4P), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that helps local non-profit organizations achieve their annual fundraising goals and brings together friends and family for an annual summer golf event. Since its founding in 2008, F4P has raised over $1000,000 for local charities including the Cancer Wellness Center, Alzheimer’s Association Greater Illinois Chapter, The Lynn Sage Foundation, and Resilience.
