Blaine Washington, MA, is a bilingual Trauma Therapist at Resilience’s Central Office. She practices using a trauma-informed approach, which incorporates relational, psychodynamic, and feminist perspectives. She is also a certified yoga instructor, specializing in trauma–sensitive yoga for survivors. Prior to receiving her Masters in Clinical Psychology, Blaine worked at the University of Chicago Eating and Weight Disorders Program, and the Office of Human Rights in Washington DC. While working on her graduate degree, Blaine worked as a psychology extern at Northwestern University and The University of Chicago’s College Counseling Centers. Blaine’s areas of specialization include eating disorders, sexual assault, anxiety, and self-harming behaviors.
