Jenna Barrus

Outreach & Training Manager


Jenna Barrus (she/her) is the Outreach & Training Manager at Resilience and in charge of the Resilience Training Institute. Jenna is a public health professional working to address gender-based violence, improve sexual health outcomes, and empower survivors. She has her B.S. in Kinesiology and Public Health from Miami University and a Master of Public Health from Boston University.

Prior to Resilience, Jenna worked in a variety of settings focusing on health equity, social justice, violence prevention, and reproductive and sexual health including local government, non-profits, and healthcare. She has worked on community engagement projects with Boston Medical Center, violence prevention initiatives with Boston, Massachusetts city government, and sexual health education with Harvard University and Planned Parenthood.

Outside of her work Jenna loves spending time with Frank, her French Bulldog rescue, exploring the Chicago food scene, and listening to nerdy SCOTUS podcasts like Strict Scrutiny.
