Jonathan Van De Loo

Prevention Educator – Austin Area

Jonathan Van De Loo (he/him) is the Austin Prevention Educator at Resilience. In this role he conducts prevention education in schools in both English and Spanish with children grades K-12, in addition to providing professional training to adults and Resilience volunteers. He operates out of the Austin office, working alongside members of the Austin team to develop a presence within the Austin community alongside other non-profits in the area. He chose Resilience because he believes that when you invest in making the world a better place for survivors, you are investing in making the world a better place for everyone. He feels particularly lucky to get to work with children across so many age groups, and empower them with knowledge about their rights. Outside of the office, Jonathan can be found looking for new restaurants to try, finding new places to dance, checking out museums, and checking out live performances across the city.
