Prevention Educator & OMMB Coordinator
Nina Wilson is the Northside Prevention Educator and Our Music My Body Campaign Coordinator at Resilience. Nina received her Master of Arts in Women’s and Gender Studies from DePaul University in 2021 where she researched systems and processes of knowledge production, anti-racist research methodologies, and non-normative kinship formations producing a curriculum for anti-racist, anti-imperialist, feminist ethnographic research methods. Before joining Resilience, Nina worked in domestic and sexual violence prevention work for upwards of 5 years. At The Women’s Center at DePaul University, Wilson worked for 3 years as creative staff focusing on supporting marginalized students of color, trans and non-binary students, and students impacted by sexual and domestic violence. With her BA in cultural anthropology, Nina has a deep love for storytelling, folklore, and listening to folk’s oral histories. She now teaches at DePaul in the field of gender studies.
