Case Management Specialist
Stephanie Ortega is a Case Management Specialist at Resilience. She is a recent graduate from University of Illinois-Chicago where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology Law and Justice with minors in Philosophy, Sociology and Spanish. While at UIC, she studied theories of crime to understand the institutional and systematic oppression that occurs within our society and pursued a career that allows her to be in a position to help others in need. Before Resilience she interned with non-profit organizations that helped provide legal immigration services to low income communities and specifically with survivors of gender based violence. She is also a volunteer at Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) that helps children in foster care who have been abused or neglected. Stephanie is fluent in English/Spanish.
