Thursdays from 6:00PM to 8:00PM
Resilience Northside Satellite Office
1945 W Wilson Ave. Suite 6110
Chicago, IL 60640
*Our building is wheelchair accessible and offers gender neutral bathrooms. Any other accommodations can be discussed during intake.*
This 8-week support group is open to female survivors of sexual violence ages 18+. Explore, express, and learn to cope with difficult emotions related to past or recent experiences of sexual abuse or assault. Connect with other survivors and experience the comfort of knowing that you are not alone.
What to expect:
- Learn coping skills for impacts of trauma
- An affirming, anti victim-blaming space
- Experience community & connection with others
- Explore impacts of social & cultural contexts
- Art-making is available as an option for expression: no experience necessary
An intake assessment with the group leader is required prior to enrollment. Full engagement is essential for building relationships, for trust to develop and for everyone to get as much as possible from the experience. Participants are asked to commit to attending all sessions of the group.
To sign up, contact Victoria Herrera, Trauma Therapist and Art Therapist, at email@example.com or at (773) 275-8340 ext. 320.
