Annie E. Clark and Andrea L. Pino, co-authors of the book, We Believe You, will be at Women & Children First bookstore on Wednesday, May 31st starting at 7:00pm.
Prior to the book signing will be a training session facilitated by Chicago’s Courage Campaign to help fight sexual assault on public transit. Courage Campaign is an intersectional anti-street harassment group, all volunteer run. After their successful campaign of pressuring the CTA to put up signage about sexual harassment, they have begun transitioning to an advocacy group that offers support and provides information on bystander intervention to those who experience harassment based on gender, sexual orientation, race/ethnicity, religion, or disability.
