Trauma Intervention Specialist

Japhie Sarantos (she/her), MSW is the Trauma Intervention Specialist for Resilience. She received her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s of Social Work specializing in mental health from Loyola University of Chicago. Japhie started her career in social service volunteering at the Chicago Rape Crisis Hotline. While completing her Master’s degree, Japhie interned at Cook County Department of Corrections and Resilience. Japhie has worked with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. Japhie provides care to clients through a trauma informed lens and practices harm reduction. In addition to working with survivors, Japhie also has a background in reproductive health and reproductive justice as well as working with clients who use substances.
