Denim Day is a global day of action held during Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The campaign began after a harmful court ruling in Italy suggested that a survivor’s clothing implied consent. In response, women in the Italian Parliament wore denim to stand in solidarity with survivors and sparking a movement that continues worldwide today.
