The Resilience Associate Board

The Associate Board is an inclusive group of dedicated individuals created to support Resilience’s mission. Our purpose is to raise awareness of sexual violence, amplify Resilience’s efforts, and fundraise to support ongoing programs and advocacy initiatives.

The Commitment

Join a community dedicated to supporting Resilience!
Associate Board members commit to serving on the Associate Board in one of two capacities:

  • Teal Members make a 2-year commitment during which they engage in monthly meetings, participate in the planning and coordination of at least 1 event or initiative per year, attend Associate Board and Resilience events, and contribute at least $650 annually through fundraising and/or personal giving.
  • Purple Members make a 1-year commitment during which they engage in at least two meetings, attend at least one key Resilience event, and contribute at least $850 annually through fundraising and/or personal giving.

All members commit to:

  • Raising awareness of the entire spectrum of sexual violence by actively supporting Resilience’s mission, amplifying Resilience’s outreach efforts using their personal and professional networks, and supporting Resilience’s initiatives.
  • Building community within the Associate Board and connecting the Associate Board with the communities Resilience serves.
  • Actively learning about the groups of individuals Resilience serves. Engaging with neighborhoods and in communities where Resilience supports are available.
  • Attending the annual Associate Board retreat.
  • Connecting with ongoing Associate Board efforts by reviewing meeting minutes, newsletters, and emails and taking related action steps.

 

How to Apply

The application process includes an online application and virtual interview. The Associate Board accepts applications for new members four times a year. Click here to complete the online application.
