Erin Walton, Executive Director of Resilience was honored to host and participate in this very special conversation with Congresswoman Cheri Bustos and Tanuja Gupta, two women making a real difference for survivors of sexual violence and sexual harassment. View the video here.

Congresswoman Bustos was the chief sponsor of the bill to end forced arbitration for sexual assault and sexual harassment which was signed into law in March of this year. Congresswoman Bustos was also an original cosponsor of the Speak Out Act that just a few weeks ago passed both chambers of Congress. Tanuja was one of the lead organizers of the global Google Walkout in 2018 when thousands of Google workers walked off the job in response to the company’s poor handling of decades of sexual misconduct, and she helped form Googlers for Ending Forced Arbitration.

These women spoke about Ending Forced Arbitration, The Speak Out Act, organizing and knowing your rights in the workplace in regard to sexual harassment and violence, and more. Thank you to Congresswoman Cheri Bustos and Tanuja Gupta for participating in this conversation!
