Gabrielle Molden
Trauma Therapist
Gabrielle Molden, MSW LSW, is a Trauma Therapist at Resilience for the Austin office. She is Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s of Social Work from Dominican University in 2020. She received her Bachelor’s in Sociology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011. She worked in the community in various areas including a residential home for the independent older adults, court mandated group counseling for perpetrators of domestic violence and in domestic violence shelter with survivors and their children. She has experience working with population of wide age range, 6 weeks to 90 years old. Gabrielle received and completed 40-Hour Domestic Violence training (2018), 20-Hour Intimate Partner Abuse training (2018), 40-Hour Sexual Assault training (2021) and EMDR training (2021).
Her therapeutic approach is client centered. She prides herself on setting a space that permits the client take to an inspirational role in his/her/their healing journey while she provides support and empowerment. She uses techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT); when requested, will use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy techniques as well.
