Sam Bermudez

Legal and Medical Advocate MDT

Sam joins the Resilience team as a Legal and Medical Advocate MDT. She focused her education on topics she is passionate about, with a double major in Sociology and Women and Gender Studies from Northeastern Illinois University. After 20 years behind the bar at music venues and local spots, the pandemic shutdown gave her the opportunity to finish her degree and finally train to volunteer with Resilience. After a year or so of volunteering, she just had to join the team in a full-time capacity. She is passionate about showing support and compassion to her survivors and making sure they receive all the care and resources they desire!
