Mark H. Cohen is a marketing executive with more than three decades of success across the marketing, technology, digital media, and finance industries. Born and raised in New York, he worked in the ad business in Manhattan for over 20 years – from humble beginnings in the mailroom of a Madison Avenue agency until he founded one of the first digital agencies in New York’s “Silicon Alley.” He also co-founded the NY Chapter of the marketing trade organization PMAA and taught the first digital marketing class offered at NYU.
After leaving New York to build out the digital marketing capabilities at Janus Capital Group, Mark held marketing leadership positions at companies including Human Factors International, Meers Advertising, Cambridge Investment Research, and recently at FoodChain ID Group.
Mark holds a BS in Management and Marketing from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has held board positions with numerous non-profits, including the Private Label Manufacturer’s Association, Spirit of Harmony Foundation, Adventures Within, America and Denver SCORES, Noah’s Ark Animal Foundation, and the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center. Mark also served as a mentor at the Iowa Start-up accelerator and graduated from civic leadership programs Leadership Denver and Leadership Iowa.
Mark is married with three kids and two grandkids and resides in La Grange Park, IL.
