Kathryn (Kate) Meyer joined the board of Resilience in July 2018. Meyer joined the Alzheimer’s Association in 2004 and is senior director of media & entertainment engagement, where she leads national media relations strategies for the Association to raise critically needed awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and the Association. She also spearheads Association partnerships in the entertainment community, including working closely with Association celebrity Champions, entertainment companies and special projects that educate and inspire people to take action in the fight against Alzheimer’s. Prior to joining the Alzheimer’s Association, Meyer spent four years at Edelman Public Relations in Chicago with the corporate reputation management division and two years as a member of the Big Ten Conference media relations team. She has her BA from Purdue University.
