McKenna Rogan

Advocacy Volunteer Supervisor


McKenna Rogan (they/she) is the Advocacy Volunteer Supervisor at Resilience.  McKenna’s role is to recruit, hire, train, and supervise the volunteer Medical Advocates who work directly with survivors of sexual violence in hospital emergency rooms throughout Chicago.  Previously, she worked as the Violence Prevention and Advocacy Specialist at Loyola University Chicago and in several other roles within higher education.  They also served as a volunteer Medical Advocate beginning in 2020.

McKenna is dedicated to ending sexual violence through comprehensive sex education, institutional anti-oppression work, and direct survivor support.  Outside of work, they love hiking, seeing theater and dance performances, and trying new restaurants around Chicago.
