Part Time Trauma Therapist
Scarlett (she | her) is a highly accomplished Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor (CADC) with over a decade of clinical experience including direct clinical practice, international research, and senior-level leadership.
A dedicated leader in the behavioral health field, Scarlett previously served as the Director of Admissions at Footprints to Recovery and worked in the UK at a community alcohol and drug team while commencing her doctoral studies at King’s College London under the US-UK King’s College London Fulbright Award 2019/20.
Her clinical expertise is rooted in trauma informed care, and she implements Amad of clinical interventions, including: Dialectal Behavioural Therapy, TF-CBT, Mindfulness Based Sobriety, Motivational Interviewing, harm reduction, narrative therapy, and the Seeking Safety.
Scarlett has an extensive history providing services to marginalized populations, including, but not limited to: Survivors of sexual assault and abuse, domestic violence, persons living with disabilities, refugees, LEP clients, LGBTQIA+ folx, and refugees.
She holds an AM from the University of Chicago’s Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice and a BA in Psychology (summa cum laude) from Northeastern Illinois University.
With additional certifications in SMART Recovery and Mental Health First Aid, Scarlett continues to bridge the gap between high-level clinical supervision and compassionate, frontline therapeutic intervention.
n her spare time, Scarlett enjoys figure skating, a passion that she has held onto since she began at the age of four, traveling, and spending time with her beloved ESA from Thailand.
